Our home, and B&B, is located in Canmore, Alberta, right next door to Banff National Park, 45 min. from Lake Louise, an hour from the Calgary international airport and Kananaskis Country, and only minutes from world famous ski hills such as Sunshine Village, Mt. Norquay, Lake Louise, and Nakiska. We are also close to Johnston Canyon and the Spray and Grassi Lakes for those who like to hike, and within traveling distance to the famous Columbia Icefields. Our Bed and Breakfast features a private 1500 sq. foot area that includes a recreation room with a billiards table, a family room with fireplace, a T.V./V.C.R., and a huge free selection of movies. We also have a kitchenette area, a 5-piece bathroom, and bedrooms with brass queen and twin-size beds. There are two private entrances, a huge flower garden, a deck looking out on the mountains, and storage space for skis, snowboards and bikes. Our b'fasts are prepared by both of us, Joscelyne and Charlie, a professional chef. Our baking, including our bread, muffins, loaves, and slices, are baked daily by Joscelyne. B'fasts includes both FULL and LIGHT menus, with varieties of Charlies home-made famous pancakes, french toast, egg muffins, fruit salad, yogurts, homemade jams and granolas, eggs+bacon+hashbrowns, and even "JAPANESE STYLE" b'fasts - only upon request. B'fast is served between 7:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m., but we are very flexible if your needs are different. Our home is 5 minutes away from Cougar Creek, an excellent path for sunrise or sunset walks, and just minutes away from mountains that offer moderate hiking and extreme mountain climbing excursions. An outdoor skating rink is also in our neighbourhood. Our b&b is perfect for: SMALL GROUPS....... as it is a private 1500 sq. foot floor with a separate common area, able to accomodate from 1-5 persons. FAMILIES, as we have two young children, and have all the toys, movies, etc. to entertain little ones and NINTENDO 64!! Summer activities include: Hiking, cycling, mountain climbing, gondola rides, boat-tours, kayaking, whitewater-rafting, golfing, swimming, scenic drives, and much more... Winter activities: Downhill skiing (5 ski hills minutes away), snowboarding, cross-country skiing, skating, tobogganing, snow-shoeing, skidoo trips, sleigh rides and much more! Personal itineraries are available year round, and shuttle services to the ski hills can be arranged as Charlie snowboards daily in the winter and would love to have some company in our van on those chilly early winter mornings.
