Spectacular Alpine Country
Enjoy a summer wilderness experience in the Canadian Rockies while staying at an historic and comfortable full-service mountain lodge. A trail network through larch-filled valleys leads to many lakes and viewpoints in Assiniboine Provincial Park. Hiking guides from the lodge lead interpretive hikes for lodge guests. One of the hikes is designed for guests who prefer a slower-paced day, while the second trip covers more terrain and includes hiking ascents and ridge walking to the peaks which surround the valley.
Six alpine lakes close to the lodge are stocked with cutthroat and rainbow trout..
B.C. Fishing licenses are sold at the lodge.
