Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge Golf Course

Rated # 1 in Canada by Score Golf magazine, Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge Golf Course features a landmark fairway known for harmonizing with its captivating surroundings. Located deep inside the Canadian Rockies, Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge Golf Course has few rivals when it comes to the astounding beauty that sums up this world-class Canadian Rockies vacation destination.

Through the work of 50 teams of horses and 500 men who cleared the land of boulders and other debris, Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge Golf Course was officially opened on July 15, 1925 by Earl Haig, Commander in Chief of the British Forces in WWI and a former Captain of the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews. Designed by Stanley Thompson, master architect of golf courses throughout Canada, the course boasts elevated tee boxes and holes aligned to show off the spectacular mountain views. Carved into the
thick forest are wide fairways blending with the rugged surroundings that define its Canadian Rockies setting.

In 1994, Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge Golf Course began restoration to bring the course back to the original layout created by Thompson. Bunkers and tee boxes were recreated according to their original 1924 design, and this, along with other improvements made in 2001, have made the course one of the most sought after in the Canadian Rockies.

The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge Golf Course has received four and a half stars from Golf Digest, the Gold Tee award from Meetings and Incentive Magazine for 7 consecutive years, and the successful Meetings Magazine
Pinnacle Award for 6 consecutive years. With its charming cabins, fine dining, excellent pro shop, driving range, and exquisite hiking trails, Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge Golf Course is ideal for the vacation traveler
bent on having one of the most memorable golf experiences in the Canadian Rockies.
