Kananaskis Country Golf Course ascend to almost 5,000 feet. The two
world-class courses ranging from 5,539 to 7,083 yards are named for the
magnificent limestone peaks that hover over them: Mount Kidd and Mount
Lourette. On both 18-hole courses you will find glacier-fed ponds and
creeks, a plethora of wildlife, evergreen forests, and the cascading
Kananaskis River, in addition to over 140 silica sand bunkers and four
sets of tee boxes. Robert Trent Jones’ trademark sand traps, undulating
greens, and use of water combine with high mountain elevation to create a
test of true skill for the low handicap player. With its natural terrain
there is plenty of bunkering and water play, creating the perfect
environment for a challenging game.

Kananaskis Country Golf Course has a great pro shop featuring all the best
known brands in golfing gear, along with an excellent restaurant, fireside
lounge, patios with amazing views, valet parking, and a locker room area,
you would be hard-pressed to find a better spot to perfect your game. And
for the non-golfers among you, this Canadian Rockies vacation destination
provides excellent hiking trails along with many high-quality lodges and
luxury accommodations nearby.
