Itinerary Day 1 Arrive at the Black Cat Guest Ranch after lunch for transportation to Rocky Mountain Escape. Settle in to your private log cabin, with the option of taking a stroll along Munn Creek. Dinner, followed by an evening campfire featuring local history and legends. Overnight accommodation at the 'Escape.
Day 2 Breakfast at the 'Escape. Pack up personal belongings for transportation to West Range. Hike 8 km (5 km of gradual climb from the Wild Hay River trailhead, 3 km of gentle downhill to flat terrain) to the lunch site. Trail lunch, followed by a 7 km hike (gentle downhill to flat terrain) to the West Range cabins. Dinner and overnight accommodation at West Range.
Day 3 Breakfast at West Range. Pack up personal belongings for transportation to the Black Cat Guest Ranch. Hike 7 km (gentle downhill and flat terrain) to a scenic lunch site along Solomon Creek. Trail lunch, followed by a 5 km hike to the Black Cat. Dinner and overnight accommodation at the Black Cat, with afternoon/evening options of enjoying an outdoor hot tub or game room, or taking a horseback ride.
Day 4 Breakfast at the Black Cat, followed by a leisurely departure before noon.
