Itinerary
Day 1
Arrive mid-afternoon at the Black Cat Guest Ranch and settle in.
Dinner, followed by an informal meeting for briefing on the trip and introduction to your mushing guides.
Overnight accommodation at the Black Cat.
Day 2
Breakfast at the Black Cat.
Pack up personal belongings and dog sleds, and mush your team 30 km along the Mountain Shadow Trail to the West Range cabins.
Lunch will be provided along the trail.
Dinner and overnight accommodation at West Range.
Day 3
Breakfast at West Range.
Thrill to the speed of the dog teams with a morning spent on the trail with empty sleds.
Lunch at West Range, with afternoon options of snowshoeing or cross-country skiing.
Dinner and overnight accommodation at West Range.
Day 4
Breakfast at West Range.
Pack up personal belongings and dog sleds and mush your team north on the Mountain Shadow Trail to Rocky Mountain Escape.
Trail lunch, with arrival at the 'Escape mid-afternoon to settle in to your private log cabin.
Dinner and overnight accommodation at the 'Escape.
Day 5
Breakfast at the 'Escape.
Pack up personal belongings after breakfast for transportation to participant vehicles.
