The Friends of Banff National Park
The Friends of Banff National Park is a non-profit society of individuals,
organizations, and businesses dedicated to the protection and preservation of the natural
and cultural resources of Canada's oldest National Park. A member of the Canadian Parks
Partnership, the Friends of Banff National Park share in a network of over 45 volunteer
co-operating associations which provide project support and financial assistance to
National Parks and National Historic Sites. It is governed by a volunteer board of
directors.
We are committed to the protection of places which are significant
examples of Canada's natural and cultural heritage. We believe that this is best achieved
by promoting public understanding, appreciation and enjoyment.
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
The Friends of Banff National Park fellowship provides ways to
appreciate the natural, geographic, and cultural heritage of Banff National Park and the
park's interrelationship with the Earth. It is a democratic, non-profit association
involving individuals, organizations, and businesses.

Members receive three newsletters, a discount on
merchandise, free admission to the Cave & Basin and the Park Museum as well as
invitation to special events.
