Lodge is accessible only by helicopter, hiking, or skiing. We
are located adjacent to Banff National Park in Mount Assiniboine
Provincial Park, B.C., just a three hour drive from the Calgary
International Airport. A spectacular helicopter flight from a
site west of Canmore, Alberta brings you to this historic log
lodge on the Great Divide (the Great Divide forms the border between
Alberta and British Columbia). There are also options to hike
or ski 17 miles (28 km) to the lodge while your gear is flown
in by helicopter.
Cross country
ski, snowshoe or hike in one of British Columbia’s most
unique wilderness parks. Assiniboine Provincial Park is part
of the Canadian Rocky Mountain UNESCO World Heritage Site. Mount
Assiniboine itself (11,844 feet/ 3,610 meters) is Canada’s
