CONFIRMATION OF RESERVATION

Deposit is not required for local rides (1 hour to full day). For backcountry we request a non-refundable deposit of $100.00 CDN (approx. $75 USD) per person to confirm your space on a ride. For the Adventure Expeditions, we require $400.00 CDN (approx. $300 USD) per person. Your balance is due the morning you check in for your ride.

PAYMENTS

We accept Visa, American Express, Master Card, and Diner's Club credit cards. You may include your credit card number on the application form for immediate confirmation. Or you may indicate your payment preference without including a card number, and we will contact you for confirmation and approval.

We also accept Personal and Traveller's Cheques.

PLEASE NOTE: Prices are quoted in Canadian funds ("CDN"), and approximate US dollar equivalents ("USD") are included for comparison and convenience of visitors from other parts of the world. At this time, US. currency is valued approximately 40% higher than Canadian - great value for vacationers accustomed to US. pricing!

CANCELLATION POLICY

Your deposit is completely non-refundable; however, with the exception of Adventure Expeditions, it is transferable to the same kind of trip in 1999 or 2000 if notice of cancellation has been received by our office 14 days prior to your trip departure date. Of course, any money paid to us over and above your deposit will be refunded to you. No refunds will be given on any trip in progress.

GST

All backcountry trips add 7% Goods & Services Tax.

HOTEL TAX

Lodge trips are subject to 5% tax on accommodation portion ($1.95/person/night).

BACKCOUNTRY USER FEE

Parks Canada has instituted a $6.00 per person, per night backcountry user fee (to a maximum of $30.00, includes Goods and Services Tax.). This fee is to help offset the costs of maintaining a national park visited and used by over 2 million travellers every year. Your contribution will help to cover trail maintenance and repair, warden services, wildlife monitoring, and public information and safety. As a result, we will be adding the backcountry user fee to the cost of your trip. We thank you for your support in helping to ensure the future of our beautiful park for many years to come.

INDEMNITIES

We strongly recommend that all of our guests purchase travel, health, and cancellation insurance. Each rider will be required to sign a waiver releasing Warner Guiding and Outfitting" from all risks.

GRATUITIES

Gratuities are customary and very much appreciated.

For those folks wanting to pitch a tent or park a motor home, Banff has two large campgrounds Tunnel Mountain Campground, situated on top of Tunnel Mountain and about a 5 minute drive to downtown, and Two Jack Lake Campground, located about 20 minutes from Banff. Unfortunately, neither accepts reservations. All sites are allocated on a first come first served basis.
