My girlfriend and I went on an adventure tour a week ago. I just wanted to tell you, we had a great time. My girlfriend is from Japan. She was only here a week and I think the tour was the highlight of her trip.

Thanks, Vince & Emi - January 2007

Yesterday we had the pleasure of exploring a portion of the Rat’s Nest Cave with our guide Eli and 4 other guests. It was a memorable experience. We’d like to thank Eli for his extremely professional service; he was a wealth of information about the cave formation and its inhabitants. Safety was always his first concern and he made us all feel comfortable in a foreign environment. The rappel and the ‘laundry chute’ were exciting parts of the trip we all enjoyed! It is such a privilege to experience the wild environments nature has to offer and we appreciate the opportunity your tour provided us. Thank you.

Warmest Regards, Clinton S., Lori, Graeme, & Meghann N - December 2006

I just wanted to drop a note to thank you for the wonderful experience (it's quite possibly the best thing I've done all year!) and to tell you what an interesting read your book was - it brought back the memories of the experience. You are quite the fountainhead of ecological and geological information and I've been telling everyone here who will stop to listen to me, about the book and the tour!

Subha - December 2006

We participated in your adventure tour last week and just wanted to follow-up and commend Eli for being an excellent guide. He was knowledgeable and a pleasure to crawl around with.

Kevin & April - October 2006

Thanks Chas. Again, great time in the cave. What was of surprising interest was the diversity of the group...a geology prof., goth teens, a middle aged couple (my wife and I)....and everyone got a lot out of the experience.

Cheers, Pat - September 2006

I would like to comment on our Adventure Tour we took September 11th in Rats Nest Cave. Two females away on a girls' weekend. We really had no idea about Caving and what we were getting ourselves into. With a lot of hesitation and a few nervous moments we headed out. It turned out to be the most awesome experience. Our guide Russell was excellent. I cannot say enough about him. He was not only knowledgeable but reassuring and helped give us the confidence that we could successfully rappel and squeeze threw the Laundry Chute. He made us feel safe and secure at all times. Experiencing this history and crawling through this natural museum was such an adrenaline rush. You will be getting more business because we can't stop raving about what a great time we had. We both picked up Chas's book which will remind us of our incredible encounter. We both agree it hands down beat our Spa Day that weekend.

I'm writing to thank you for writing your book which I read before my tour of Rat's Nest Cave this past Saturday and to say I really enjoyed our guide Dave who took the time we needed and was so infinitely patient with us. I loved my introduction to caving and it was all too much fun squeezing, crawling, sliding, climbing, rappelling and slithering thru...the formations we looked at were jaw drop gorgeous and I loved when we had time for it to be silent in the darkness of the cave so we could listen to the music of the drips. The group of woman I had convinced to come on the trip was thrilled as well. For me it was a dream, (literally because I've had a recurring dream of caving), come true.…:O) Thanks again

We wanted to let you know what a great time we had on the cave tour. We've told everyone that they need to contact you if they are ever near Calgary. Sending along some photos we took in the cave.

Just wanted to say Hello and say thanks once again for our caving trip. It was truly enjoyed by both Lorraine and myself and will always be recommended to all. I hope all is well. With wishes of good health and good fortune.

Take Care, Ron & Lorraine - August 2006

We just came back from the Rats Nest tour - Friday 7th. Jane was an excellent tour guide. We felt most fortunate that we were the only two people on the tour - it was much more personal and a lot less "touristy" than it otherwise would have been. We both enjoyed it tremendously and look forward to another caving tour in the future.

We just wanted to leave a note to say that we had a fantastic time crawling, climbing and shimmying through Rat's Nest Cave on Saturday, July 29, 2006. It was a truly memorable trip, punctuated by the wonderfully animated descriptions relayed to us by Russell, our guide. Thank you so much to him and to Canmore Caverns, Ltd. at large, for facilitating such an important glimpse into geology and the human passion that surrounds the discovery and maintenance of such sites. As a result of this wholly unique and positive experience, we will most definitely be doing more of this type of endeavor in the future.

Sincerely, Ayton and Emma - July 2006

One of your guides, Mark, volunteered to help guide my oldest boy's Scout troop and a few dads into Rat's Nest yesterday. It was a great experience for all and I'm sure all the guys found it an unforgettable adventure. Mark was a great guide; very informative, patient and reassuring, especially considering that with one exception, none of the boys (11-14) had ever been in a cave before. Please pass on our thanks. I finally picked up a copy of your book on the cave yesterday and look forward to reading it.

Cheers, David Q. - June 2006

Thank you so much for an amazing experience yesterday! Rob, Laurie and I had such a great time, the caves were incredible! Thank you to Jane for answering all of our questions and for all of the laughs. We'll be sure to send all of our adventure-seeking guests in your direction! Thank you again, we appreciate it. Sincerely,

Annie F. - April 2006

I just wanted to pass along a big thank you for the excellent day underground last Friday. We were quite a large group but Jane and Russell did a fabulous job of managing everyone, interpreting what we were seeing, preparing us for what was coming, and putting up with plenty of bad jokes. Everyone enjoyed themselves enormously; it was the talk of the evening and following day. I've been telling everyone it was like being wee again, crawling through tunnels, climbing over rocks, and getting very muddy. Best,

Hi from the Calgary Outdoor Club, I wanted to write a quick note to thank you folks for a really AWE-INSPIRING day! We all enjoyed ourselves immensely, and some of us had difficulty in making the decision to return to the surface. Mark did a great job for us, kept us safe, well-informed and entertained all day.

Joel W. - March 2006

I just want to send along a big thank you once again for a fantastic tour. Our group thoroughly enjoyed the leaders and the tour through the cave. This adventure continues to be one of our most popular with the students and our supervisors. We really appreciate the professionalism your staff demonstrates and the obvious passion they have for what they do. Thanks again. Cheers,

I wanted to extend a personal thank you for an exceptional caving expedition last weekend. I was supremely impressed by the professionalism, enthusiasm and engaging personality of Mark – our guide. My entire group found Mark’s leadership rare and exceptional, and I hope you can pass that on to him. You are extremely fortunate to have someone of his caliber on your team! Hopefully he also got a chuckle or two out of our unique team dynamic. Thanks again,

Tom Z. - September 2005

Just a note to say thank you to Mark for the excellent tour. It was our first time caving and we were thoroughly impressed with the whole experience. The rappel, the laundry chute and even the mud at the end added to the over all experience. We will recommend caving with you to all our more adventurous friends.

Trudy and Bill H. - June 2005
