Canmore, Alberta, Canada is quietly nestled in the spectacular Bow River
Valley, situated at the gateway to the Canadian Rocky Mountains and Banff
National Park. It's just 120 km (75 mi) west of Calgary and 22 km (14 mi)

From Calgary: allow about 1.5 hours to drive. Travel west on Highway 1 from
Calgary and take the "Canmore 1A exit" then follow the Bow Valley Trail (1A)
into the town centre. Turn left at the traffic lights onto Railway Ave.
Travel a short distance to 10th Street and turn right into the shopping
plaza and meet your guide under the Sobeys sign.

From Banff: allow 30 minutes to drive. Travel east on Highway 1 from Banff
and take the "Canmore Bow Valley Trail exit". Stay right and follow the Bow
Valley Trail to the traffic lights (Boston Pizza on corner) and turn right
onto Railway Ave. Take Railway Ave to 10th street and turn left into the
plaza and meet your guide under the Sobeys sign.
