Ice Cave in Starbird Glacier, 1922

Originally know as Horsethief Glacier, Cora Best, Chere Shippham and Conrad Kain are on the ice promontory. "The big cave is all of three hundred yards long. Its arched dome, where winds have kept a constant melting process going on, is polished jade green." (Cora Best, Canadian Alpine Journal, 1923)
